Teaching is different to being a dancer, as many great dancers will agree! Teaching comes with experience and feeling the passion of the dance and its origins. No one can change that! So, to become a Latin American teacher you have to experience the feeling that the Latin Americans feel. How do you do that? Dance where it comes from!!!! Keith does just that and he still continues to absorb the passion and to respect not to change what is their passion and language. What he has learnt from his teachers is that it’s a language that they learn from childhood; like we learn to talk, they learn to dance. A truly amazing experience to see, watch and feel such passion. This is what has always inspired his dancing and driven him continue to travel to many different countries to absorb their passion and continue to learn their skills. His journey of dance still continues to be amazing, He has travelled and danced, taught and enjoyed in many countries; England, his roots, of course as well as Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Bratislava, Norway, Scandinavia, Germany, Croatia, Bavaria, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Canada, USA, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Columbia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Cuba and many many more. He has attended 63 Latin Congresses around the globe with some of the best instructors and masters teaching the same foundation in dance,Achieving his Masters in Argentine Tango in Turino Italy in 2007 under THE Maestro Chico Frumbolii & Javier Rodriguez he has been inspired and continues to pass on their knowledge to his pupils with the same passion they have given him. Learning to dance can be a real challenge. Why? First, salsa is a "club dance" or "street dance" that has not been brought into the ballroom dance curriculums. Being a "club dance," and being outside most ballroom dance curriculums, salsa is taught mainly by nightclub salsa dancers and each may have their own, unique style. For such an easy dance, nightclub dance teachers often do not agree on what to teach as the "basic step" and they often do not agree on which beat to start the dance. Most nightclub salsa teachers fall into one of these two categories. Category 1: They grew up dancing salsa, they are great dancers with great style and "feel," BUT they can't teach it in a way that the average person can grasp - every detail broken down to count. The second category: They are fairly new to salsa and they can't teach much beyond very basic figures. Many clubs operate in the country with this situation finding the combination of a great salsa dancer and a great teacher with the technical knowledge is very difficult. The wrong teachers result in dancers giving up, and losing their confidence in their ability, so here is my recommended list of teachers who i have known for years and have seen their results with their professional knowledge and instruction. www.alchemydance.co.uk Marchant and Davina. http://tracieslatinclub.co.uk Tracys latin club. www.salsabristol.co.uk Moe Flex www.salsasiempre.co.uk Carol Hoey www.abanicosalsa.com Angus Peters www.salsaexplosion.com Enrique Perez www.latinobeat.co.uk Neville Ashman www.clubcubana.com Cressida Childs www.salsa-nights.co.uk Tiny Tim www.salsaswindon.com Joy & Anne(Miss money penny) www.salsaoxford.com Lisa & Mark
